Tapping the Creative Nature at Osmosis

Osmosis Day Spa secluded back gardens

On July 22nd I’m looking forward to doing art in its most sensual, sensory based form, bypassing the mind and getting straight to the spirit, the big nature spirit that will be welcoming us in the serene back acres of Osmosis Day Spa. I’ll be the Vitality Quest Leader in the day of “Tapping the Creative Spirit”.

By the way, we’ll have this nature area all to ourselves, just the plants and critters, among which we can count ourselves.  I’ll be the guide to discover the joy of sensual contact of finger touching charcoal and pigment powders touching paper, of moving with the inner impulse, uncensored by the planning mind.  Nature seeping in through all the senses and cycling back through the hands to paper to reveal itself anew.

A juicy day all around, starting out with an enzyme bath, massage and sound healing in the hammock garden, and a gourmet box lunch, tuning all the senses before even reaching for the paper in the afternoon.  Can you imagine?  Can you come and join in?

Vitality Quests at Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary

Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary, Freestone, CA

Last week I took a walk around the gardens and secluded back three acres of Osmosis in preparation for the Vitality Quest I will be leading there this summer.  In a 400′ stretch of Salmon Creek there are 4 massage pagodas that will be used as retreat huts, and 7 specially chosen private places along the creek that are being created for the use of the Vitality Quest participants.  You start out with an entire morning of spa treatments – cedar enzyme bath, massage, sound healing session in the hammock garden – and lunch followed by a guided retreat which also gives you private time in these divine nature spots.

It’s hard to imagine a more serenely peaceful spot.  I was there to contemplate my own offering as a Vitality Quest Leader on July 22.  Art + meditation + nature, my own favorite healing combination, a rich offering in itself, but combined with the healing spa treatments and private time in the sacred sanctuary of Osmosis, it is practically irresistible!

This is one of the private massage pagodas that will be available to one of the 11 participants in the Vitality Day Quests, which are scheduled throughout the next few months and feature a variety of top teachers in the healing arts.  For more details about the offerings check out Osmosis. (Personally I’m tempted to sign up for every one of the days.) And if you’d like to join me for the day that will include an afternoon of nature, art, meditation and reflective time alone, read more here about the July 22 offering.
