My talented husband Bob Cornelis has created 50 environmental portraits of Sonoma County artists in their studios (of which I am honored to be one) in a book project in partnership with the Arts Council of Sonoma County. The 130 page book, with essays on related topics, will be sold to support the Arts Education Alliance that supports art programs in K-12 schools. 100% of the monies generated from the sale of the book will go to the program.
If you want to see some of the portraits (mine included) and read more about it, Lenscratch, a popular photography blog has just featured an article about it.
And please join us for the book launch and print exhibit opening tomorrow evening, 5-8:30pm at Gallery 300, 300 A St. in Santa Rosa, CA! Meet some of the 50 artists in their art opening attire and see their portraits in the gritty and gorgeous terrain of their studios.
