More fun with cheesecloth with the Sunday Muse group. This time I took a doodle I’d done previously and used the cheesecloth as a structural element. Playing around with the fibers they seemed to form themselves into a lumpy bag, like a leprechaun might be carrying. I painted matte medium on the paper, pressed the cheesecloth on, painted over it with more medium and let it dry. Later I came back and painted acrylic over it, then grated some oil pastel into the wet paint for some contrast sparkle.
My scribble Dude with the octopus hair looked like he was playing the flute, and then the skateboard appeared to give him a ride. “Are we having fun yet?”
