“Summit”, acrylic and collage on canvas, 36″ X 36″
Just finished the first of a new mixed media series I’ll be showing at ARTrails Open Studio Sale next month, Oct. 13, 14, 20, 21. Hope you’ve got it on your calendar to come and visit the studio then. You can go to the ARTrails Website now and see work by all 155 artists who are participating this year and download your map. Tonight is the opening of one of our ARTrails preview shows at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, CA, 6-9pm. See you there? And there will be others this month if you can’t make it tonight.

Hi,
I have recently found your blog and love looking thru it.
I just have to say that my first impression of this pic was to see a desert Arab on a camel, and the words ‘summit’ made me link this thought to a ‘Summit’ meeting of politicians, wealthy oil barons and the like.
Anyway – that’s the way my brain worked!
Thanks Renita! I can certainly see your camel in the dessert. Isn’t it incredible how our minds are constantly spinning out stories.
