Fantasy figure

Acrylic and ink on paper, 11″ X 13″
THis is the curvy Elizabeth from last Thursday’s figure studio, only now she’s dreaming, and what a dream! Have you a title for this piece? or a story for it (not too x-rated though please! There are children and grandmothers who visit this blog!)

I see a dog jumping up her leg to greet her and an ambilical cord still attached to her exiting from the right. The background even resembles a womb like texture and comfort feeling, so I’m thinking of things like:
‘connections’
‘the ties that bind’
‘dependancy’
‘union’
‘belonging’
Those were the first thoughts that entered my head.
Aries Womb (?)
I see a goat or sheep-like (ram) creature leaping up and through her body. The shape exiting to the right looks to me like the hoof of another, departing animal. Like a parade of animals passing through her consci0usness. (or maybe she’s counting sheep in her dream? just kidding)
PS
Thanks for listing me as an artist of interest! Now I’ll really have to get regular in posting and building my blog!
Thanks Anita. Your adjectives work quite well I think. How fun that you see a dog jumping!
Jude, I can totally relate to this parade of animals - could be all kinds, but goats definitely work for me. Spirit guides. And well, I guess Aries comes in there because my husband is an Aries - interesting, huh?
I was doing web-search for Susan Perry, and came to this site. Are you Susan Perry who submitted haiku poem to me before?
It is sort of an erotic painting.
Quite right Bill. That’s what comes from hanging out with nude models, huh?
Not the nudes I’ve been painting.
