Hello, Hello! Welcome to my very first blog. Thought I’d start by going back just a bit to my summer travel sketchbooks and a family vacation in Santa Cruz – family includes husband, Bob, and teenage sons, Ben and Andy and me of course. They’re very used to my whipping out my sketchbook in restaurants, at the beach, while watching movies at home, etc. I usually have about 10-15 for a completed color sketch.

First stop on arrival in Santa Cruz, home of the best Souvlaki!

Down to the beach and later pizza and movies at our rented home, followed by an hour of bed rearrangement. NOT ONE comfortable bed in our cute beach house rental, but no less than 4 TV’s with DVD and Play Station.
